Trade and Commerce	The wheel and ship building created a more interconnected world amoung the Mesopotamians and the rest of the world Many trade routes stretched from all parts of the empire like the silk road to China because the civilization was in the middle of the old world
Labor Systems	Many farmers had slaves work for them to grow food Sometimes, the mother and children would make things like textiles and send them to their father and he would sell them in a market place somewhere else in the empire
Industrialization	Products made were textiles and many metallurgy products created from bronze or iron
Capitalism and socialism	It was a capitalist society because there were both the rich and the poor people of the soceity Cuneiform shows records of taxes people had to pay for the leaders way back then
